Job Summary

This role involves joining the Data Center at the Heidelberg University of Education to ensure smooth and secure IT operations for approximately 4,700 students and 650 staff members. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, installation, and operation of a new file server including DFS structures, as well as the further development of the Document Management System (FILERO) and Identity Access Management systems. Your day-to-day will include migrating server and network components, configuring Windows and Linux server services, and providing last-level support. The position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of infrastructure maintenance and project-based development.
