Job Summary
This role involves the technical management and continuous development of the Clinical Information System (CIS), specifically focusing on the ORBIS platform within a 290-bed hospital environment. You will act as the primary bridge between technical infrastructure and clinical operations, analyzing medical and administrative processes to map them effectively within the system. Day-to-day tasks include customizing and parameterizing modules, providing 2nd-level support to medical and nursing staff, and coordinating with software vendors for ticket resolution. You will play a key role in digitalization projects, release management, and interface monitoring. This position is particularly attractive for IT professionals seeking a stable, permanent role in the public sector (TVöD-K) where they can directly influence the digital transformation of healthcare services while working closely with diverse professional groups in a collaborative environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT (Fachinformatiker), ideally specializing in System Integration or Application Development, or an equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in application management or supporting complex software systems
- Experience in the healthcare sector or working with hospital information systems is highly preferred
- Proven track record in structured and analytical problem-solving
- Experience in coordinating with external software manufacturers and vendors
- Experience in managing interfaces and system integration
