Job Summary
As a Project Manager in Electrical Engineering, you will lead complex lighting and media staging projects for international product presentations, showrooms, and cultural venues like theaters and museums. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve steering projects from initial planning through to quality-assured completion, ensuring all work stays within budget and on schedule. You will be responsible for tendering and awarding planning and construction services according to HOAI and VOB standards, while coordinating a diverse group of stakeholders including clients, external service providers, and authorities. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of engineering oversight and administrative management, including cost tracking and documentation. Required Skills
Education
University or Technical College degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or Theater and Event Technology.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field
- Proven experience in project steering from planning to completion
- Experience in lighting control and lighting technology
- Professional experience in tendering and awarding planning and construction services
- Experience in monitoring internal and external service providers
Languages
Additional
- Knowledge of DIN and VDE standards required; familiarity with VOB and HOAI preferred. Position is located in Taufkirchen/Munich or Ratingen/Dusseldorf.
