Job Summary
As a Software Engineer at Spaceteams, you will work in a pragmatic, fast-paced environment developing high-quality software solutions across diverse industries including E-commerce, Gaming, and Health. Your day-to-day involves planning and improving tailor-made software systems, taking full project responsibility from conception to release, and collaborating closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to define requirements. You will actively shape technology decisions and architectural questions while refining business processes alongside technical code. The position offers significant autonomy, including 'Spacetime'—where up to 20% of your working hours are dedicated to professional development and internal projects. While the role is primarily remote, it includes monthly on-site meetings in Hamburg to foster team culture and collaboration.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in developing extensive software systems, preferably at a full-stack level
- Proven track record in multiple software projects, ideally within the context of large-scale initiatives
- Experience in understanding complex system landscapes and developing appropriate technical solutions
- Professional experience working with agile methods and rapid iteration cycles
- Experience in mentoring and knowledge sharing within a technical team
