Job Summary

The Data Engineering Lead will spearhead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality data pipelines and products within a fintech ecosystem covering payments, invoicing, and collections. Operating in an agile, cross-functional environment, the role involves building and scaling a high-performing team to transform raw data into trusted assets for BI and AI. Key responsibilities include defining the data engineering roadmap, overseeing ETL/ELT pipeline development, and implementing automated data quality frameworks. The position is unique for its hybrid flexibility across multiple European locations (Berlin, Verl, Baden-Baden, or Oslo) and its focus on a 'data-as-a-product' philosophy. You will collaborate with Data Product Owners and Platform Engineering to ensure data reliability and operational excellence while fostering a culture of ownership and CI/CD automation.
