Job Summary

As a Lead Engineer at Bayer, you will be a central figure in the Engineering E&I and Automation EMEA team, taking full responsibility for electrical and automation technology within small to medium-sized investment projects. Your daily activities will involve creating detailed specifications for process control, electrical, and measurement systems, as well as overseeing the entire lifecycle from basic design to commissioning. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a comparable qualification with extensive professional experience.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience specifically within the chemical industry
  • Extensive experience in automation and electrical engineering, including hardware and software design
  • Proven track record in managing investment projects from concept through to commissioning
  • Experience in creating technical specifications for electrical and process control systems
  • Professional experience in functional safety and legal regulatory compliance
