Job Summary
As an IT Administrator specializing in Networks and Firewalls at KZVK, a mission-driven pension fund based in Cologne, you will play a critical role in securing an infrastructure that manages €28 billion in assets. Your daily responsibilities include conducting security assessments such as Red and Purple Teaming, analyzing vulnerabilities, and implementing technical solutions to enhance the security posture. You will be responsible for the configuration and administration of WLAN, LAN, VLAN, and WAN environments, ensuring effective network segmentation and perimeter protection. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT, such as IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT networking
- Extensive experience in the conception and segmentation of networks
- Deep technical knowledge in the administration and configuration of firewalls
- Proven experience in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities
- Professional experience in a service-oriented IT environment
