Job Summary

As a Technical Service Technician at IAD GmbH, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of premium high-end and professional audio equipment. Your daily activities involve diagnosing complex faults at the component level using circuit diagrams and performing repairs on both analog and digital electronics. Beyond hands-on technical work, you will serve as a vital link between customers and international manufacturers, handling service inquiries via email and phone in both German and English. This includes managing spare parts orders and generating warranty reports for global partners. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training such as Radio and Television Technician, Information Electronics Technician (Devices and Systems), Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in repairing consumer electronics or professional audio equipment
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic systems using technical schematics
  • Experience in technical customer service and support via phone and email
  • Experience in coordinating with international manufacturers for technical alignment
