Job Summary

This role involves providing direct, on-site IT support for hardware and software within a professional client environment. As an IT Onsite Support Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, installation, and configuration of workstations, including providing user instructions. Your daily tasks will include troubleshooting desktop systems, notebooks, printers, and peripheral devices, as well as performing basic network tasks and supporting IT rollouts or office moves. You will also be tasked with documenting activities in ticket and asset management systems. This position is ideal for service-oriented professionals who enjoy hands-on technical problem-solving and direct user interaction. The role offers an attractive compensation package above standard rates, up to 30 days of vacation, and the stability of a permanent contract with a leading German IT service provider that manages over 600,000 workstations worldwide.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in troubleshooting Windows clients, notebooks, printers, and standard hardware
  • Experience in setting up and configuring IT workstations and providing user guidance
  • Experience with ticket and asset management systems is preferred
  • Professional experience in basic network activities and technical documentation
