Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer based in Essen, you will play a central role in the engineering lifecycle of complex technical projects. Your daily responsibilities include the independent planning and creation of circuit diagrams, wiring sketches, and cable tables using EPLAN Electric P8. You will be responsible for the selection and dimensioning of electrotechnical components while ensuring strict compliance with international safety standards such as IEC and DIN VDE. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to contribute your own ideas within an international team environment. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering, or a qualification as a State-Certified Technician.

Experience

Several years of professional experience in electrical design
Proven experience in machine, plant, or automation engineering
Extensive experience in the planning, design, and documentation of electrotechnical systems
Experience in collaborating with project management and specialized technical departments
