As an Engineering Application Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for resolving complex technical issues within software applications and IT systems for industrial clients. Your daily responsibilities include processing support tickets, performing root cause analysis, and administering user data and system permissions. You will play a critical role in the engineering lifecycle by installing software packages, monitoring license usage, and developing custom scripts or macros to automate repetitive tasks and improve system functionality. Collaboration is key, as you will coordinate closely with external Level-1 and Level-2 support teams to ensure seamless operations. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science or a comparable vocational training qualification with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in user support and technical application management
  • Practical experience with CAD and PLM systems, specifically CATIA V5 and Teamcenter
  • Experience in ticket processing and coordination with external support levels
  • Several years of relevant professional experience required if applying with a vocational qualification instead of a degree
