Job Summary
As a Network Control Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational integrity and security of critical energy infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the administration and continuous development of central network control systems and associated control technologies. You will be specifically tasked with implementing IT security measures for both centralized and decentralized components, including the integration of attack detection systems within Operational Technology (OT) environments. Beyond technical maintenance, you will organize and execute technical planning, construction, and operational measures for network control technology while maintaining rigorous documentation. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Network Technology, or Information Technology (IT)
Experience
- Professional experience in network technology and process control systems
- Experience in the operation of energy supply networks, particularly power grids, is highly preferred
- Experience in ensuring IT security for centralized and decentralized technical components
- Demonstrated ability in interdisciplinary collaboration and technical planning
