Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer / Automation Technician at Brunel, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and implementation of automation solutions for renowned industrial clients. Your day-to-day activities involve programming PLC control systems using industry-standard tools like TIA Portal and Step 7, followed by the hands-on commissioning of machinery and plants. You will play a critical role in operational efficiency by analyzing and rectifying malfunctions, optimizing production processes, and providing technical support. Beyond technical execution, you will conduct training sessions for maintenance and operating personnel while ensuring all systems comply with safety standards. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Electrical Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Elektrotechniker) or a comparable qualification in Electrical Engineering or Automation.
Experience
- Professional experience in programming PLC control systems such as Step 7, TIA Portal, or WinCC
- Experience in the commissioning of industrial plants and machinery
- Proven track record in error analysis, troubleshooting, and process optimization
- Experience in conducting technical training for operating and maintenance staff
