Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer or Technician at BIM Berliner Immobilienmanagement GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Berlin's urban landscape by managing modernization and renovation projects for a diverse portfolio of over 5,000 properties, including iconic landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate. Working within an internal engineering and architecture office, your day-to-day responsibilities involve planning, controlling, and quality-assuring electrical systems. You will handle key HOAI service phases (1–3 and 5–8), create technical concepts and CAD designs, and coordinate with internal teams, public authorities, and external contractors. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study, or a completed technical vocational training in electronics with further qualification as a state-certified Technician or Master Craftsman.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering projects, specifically in renovation or modernization
  • Practical experience collaborating with planning offices, executing companies, or public sector clients
  • Proven track record in construction management or site supervision, preferably for complex commercial or special-purpose properties
  • Experience in controlling external planning offices and managing executing trades
