Job Summary

As a Systems Expert for Helicopter Avionics Test Benches at HENSOLDT, you will play a critical role in supporting the software development and maintenance for the TIGER and NH90 helicopter platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the technical design, modification, and maintenance of complex avionics test rigs and building infrastructure. You will act as a subject matter expert, advising on the technical implementation of electrical and electronic circuits and developing custom measurement equipment for specific troubleshooting needs. This position is unique as it combines hands-on technical work, such as cable assembly and system integration, with high-level engineering tasks like creating technical documentation and test specifications. Working for a leader in defense electronics, you will ensure all systems comply with rigorous aviation standards while contributing to international defense projects. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical training or further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman (Techniker/Meister) in Electronics, Electrical Installation, Automation Technology, Aircraft Electronics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electronics, electrical installation, automation technology, or aircraft electronics.
  • Proven experience in the construction of electrical systems and plants.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation such as specifications and test plans.
  • Professional experience in analyzing technical processes and performing error diagnostics.

Additional

  • Knowledge of TIGER and NH90 helicopter systems is preferred. Must be able to work according to specific aviation and safety standards (VDE, DGUV, MBBN, ARINC). Location is in Germany with a focus on supporting the SUZ Helicopter business unit.
