Job Summary

As an Automation Technician, you will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of customized applications using proprietary software. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve participating in project and client meetings to ensure technical requirements are met, as well as performing hands-on mechanical and electrical modifications. A significant portion of this role involves global travel to handle installations and commissioning at client sites worldwide. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Technician, Automation Technician, or Microtechnologist
  • Experience in electrical engineering or working with optical systems is preferred
  • Experience in developing and maintaining customer-specific software applications
  • Practical experience in mechanical and electrical conversion work
  • Experience in international system installation and commissioning
