Job Summary
As an Application Engineer and Product Manager at AKG Group, you will be responsible for the technical design and project management of Thermal Management Systems (TMS) for both mobile and stationary applications. Your day-to-day role involves translating complex customer requirements into technical solutions, defining modular system architectures, and overseeing global projects from conception to implementation. You will act as a critical technical interface, evaluating refrigeration components, adjusting circuit diagrams, and conducting system commissioning at customer sites in collaboration with the software team. This position is highly cross-functional, requiring you to work with R&D on validation programs and assist in cost calculations and commercial presentations. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma or Master's) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in cooling or heating systems for electrified vehicles or stationary plants is preferred
- Proven experience in project management and/or technical sales
- Experience in the design and configuration of thermal management systems
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and global project coordination
