Job Summary
This role is part of the 'CoSiMo' research project at the Detmold School of Design, focused on developing a 'Concierge System for Inclusive Mobility.' As an IT and UI Interface Specialist, you will be responsible for building the technological foundation of the project, which includes developing communication systems, integrating AI agents, and connecting IoT devices. You will define open system architectures and modular frameworks to ensure seamless interoperability between sensors, actuators, and users. A significant portion of the role involves implementing 'Privacy-by-Design' principles to ensure data security and decentralized encryption. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Design, Media Design, Media Production, Automation, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computational Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Planning, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in programming and modular software design
- Experience in API development and the definition of technical interfaces
- Practical knowledge of communication protocols and network technologies
- Experience with AI integration and agent-based systems is preferred
- Experience with decentralized systems and peer-to-peer communication is an advantage
- Proven ability to work in a team and cooperate across interdisciplinary research projects
