Job Summary

This role involves working within the 'Natural Climate Protection' staff unit for the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Mobility, Agriculture, and Consumer Protection in Saarland. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for expanding and maintaining the regional Action Program for Natural Climate Protection (ANK) network, collaborating with federal and state stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks include identifying synergies between regional measures and funding opportunities, providing expert advice on climate protection implementation, and identifying administrative barriers to ecosystem resilience. You will also conceptualize and moderate events for knowledge transfer and public relations. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Environmental Bio-Sciences, Bio-Geo-Sciences, Climate and Environmental Change, Geography, Environmental Sciences, Nature Conservation, Landscape Ecology, Biodiversity, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management and process structuring
  • Experience in the implementation of nature conservation and landscape management measures preferred
  • Experience with administrative procedures and public administration structures in Saarland preferred
  • Proven track record in networking and cross-organizational collaboration
  • Experience in organizing and conducting professional events or workshops
