Job Summary
As the Head of Payroll and HR at the Mannheim location, you will lead and develop a dedicated team of approximately six employees within the EDEKA Group's specialized tax and accounting network. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve ensuring high-quality, seamless payroll processes while providing expert advice on wage tax and social security law to both clients and colleagues. You will act as a proactive consultant for a diverse client base, maintaining professional relationships at eye level. This role is unique for its blend of strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise within a large, stable corporate group. Beyond operational management, you will contribute to the strategic development of branch and company-wide goals. Required Skills
Education
Completed commercial or tax law vocational training; ideally with further professional certification such as a Certified Human Resources Specialist (Personalfachkaufmann/frau), HR Consultant (Personalreferent:in), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in payroll and HR management, preferably within a tax consultancy environment
- Proven experience in leading, motivating, and developing a team of employees
- Extensive experience in handling complex wage tax and social security law matters
- Professional experience in independent and proactive client advisory and support
