Job Summary
As a Project Engineer at SEHi, you will play a vital role in environmental protection by managing the planning and implementation of sewer construction projects across all HOAI service phases. Your daily responsibilities include performing hydraulic calculations for wastewater and rainwater systems, dimensioning retention systems, and optimizing overflow basins. You will act as a project lead, overseeing third-party service providers and coordinating private development projects. This role also involves providing technical statements for water law procedures and contributing to research projects and general drainage plans. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master), preferably specializing in Urban Water Management/Wastewater Systems or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning of wastewater systems and knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines
- Experience in construction management including the awarding of civil engineering contracts
- Experience in hydraulic dimensioning of sewer networks and wastewater facilities
- Experience in managing third-party service providers and project leadership
- Experience in providing technical and administrative statements for planning procedures

- Valid Class B driver's license required for site visits. Must be eligible for public service employment (TVöD-VKA). Location-based in Hildesheim with mobile work options.
