As the Head of IT Field Service, you will lead the strategic development and operational management of the company's endpoint landscape. This role is a unique blend of leadership and technical execution, with approximately 70% of the time dedicated to hands-on endpoint setup and support. You will be responsible for defining hardware standards for PCs, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices, ensuring their implementation across the organization. Beyond technical tasks, you will optimize delivery processes, manage procurement and tendering procedures, and lead IT infrastructure projects. The position is ideal for an experienced IT professional looking to step into a leadership role while remaining deeply involved in technical problem-solving. You will act as a key point of contact for complex technical escalations and ensure comprehensive documentation of all systems. Required Skills

Education

Degree or vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Systems Management, or a degree in Computer Science/Business Informatics).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in endpoint management within large-scale IT environments
  • Experience in team leadership or a demonstrated readiness to transition into a management role
  • Proven track record in managing hardware rollouts and IT infrastructure projects
  • Extensive experience in technical error analysis and problem management
