Job Summary

As a Technical Supervisor for Heat Treatment, you will be the central point of contact for all production-related questions concerning heat treatment processes. Your daily responsibilities include planning, monitoring, and optimizing internal heat treatment workflows, as well as coordinating and supervising external activities with suppliers across Germany and Europe. You will play a pivotal role in the procurement and implementation of new heat treatment plants and lead projects focused on process improvement and the analysis of heat treatment distortion. This position offers a unique blend of technical oversight and project management, as you will be responsible for the design and development of charging racks and the technical approval of documentation. You will also collaborate on research and development projects, ensuring the continuous evolution of existing procedures. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical work and strategic supplier management within a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Materials Science, Material Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic with further qualification as a certified Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the optimization of production processes and heat treatment workflows
  • Proven experience in customer and supplier management
  • Experience in the design and further development of heat treatment charging racks
  • Experience in managing procurement and implementation projects for industrial plants
  • Background in technical troubleshooting and distortion analysis
