Job Summary
As an IT System Administrator at BBZ Bautzen e.V., you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and efficiency of the internal IT infrastructure across multiple locations in the Bautzen and Görlitz districts. Your daily activities will involve providing active support to users both on-site and remotely, managing hardware and software malfunctions, and maintaining central IT systems and application servers. You will work closely with external service providers to manage terminal server environments, SD-WAN, and digital telephone systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in network infrastructure maintenance, including switch configuration and network cabinet setup. This position is particularly attractive for those who enjoy a mix of hands-on technical tasks, such as managing iPads via MDM and digital boards, and strategic involvement in digitalization projects. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT support, network administration, and system operations
- Experience in managing external IT service providers and vendors
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Professional experience in documenting IT landscapes and maintaining central systems
