Job Summary
As a CAD/CAM Engineer at SDS Swiss Dental Solutions AG, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and optimizing an end-to-end toolchain from initial design to final production. Your daily responsibilities include ensuring digital product maturity through precise 3D modeling, developing robust CAM strategies for dental implant features, and managing PLM processes such as versioning and release workflows. You will act as a critical interface between R&D, production, and quality departments to maintain a 'Single Source of Truth' for technical data. This position is particularly attractive for professionals who enjoy a 'hands-on' mentality within a high-growth MedTech environment. The role offers a competitive salary range of €66,000 to €106,000, modern working conditions in the Lake Constance region, and flexible home-office arrangements.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, Materials Science, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in CAD and CAM for precision components
- Proven experience in a regulated industry such as Medical Technology, Dental, or Aerospace
- Extensive experience with PLM/PDM systems, including revision management and BOM structures
- Practical experience in manufacturing processes such as CNC machining and surface finishing
- Experience with measurement and testing processes including CMM and optical systems
