Job Summary

This role involves the maintenance, service, and functional testing of test benches and measurement systems for an international engineering company. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, troubleshooting malfunctions, and inspecting or replacing mechanical and electromechanical wear parts. Beyond technical tasks, you will serve as a primary point of contact for customers on-site, ensuring high service standards. The position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys independent work and is comfortable with significant travel. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in mechanical, mechatronic, or electrical engineering with further qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in measurement and testing technology is desirable but not mandatory
  • Experience in maintenance and service of technical systems
  • Experience in diagnosing and rectifying technical malfunctions
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage organizational tasks

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. High willingness to travel is mandatory (approximately 80 to 100 hotel nights per year). Position is offered via temporary employment (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung).
