This role is situated within the 'Business Online Banking Ecosystem' unit, focusing on the innovation and evolution of online banking solutions for commercial and corporate clients of the Sparkassen. As a Backend Developer, you will play a central role in the User Management department, developing and maintaining complex applications that provide essential functions for end-users. Your day-to-day will involve the entire software development lifecycle—from initial analysis and design to implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate banking requirements into technical solutions and provide critical 2nd and 3rd-level support. This position is unique for its blend of modern Java development and legacy Cobol maintenance, offering a stable yet evolving environment across locations in Hanover, Münster, or Frankfurt.
