Job Summary

As a key executive for the Association of German Cities (Deutscher Städtetag), you will represent the interests of German municipalities at the federal, state, and EU levels. Your day-to-day role involves shaping policies related to the heat transition, renewable energy expansion, and climate neutrality, while also overseeing fire protection and disaster management portfolios. You will lead a distributed team of nine employees across Cologne and Berlin, acting as a strategic liaison between city governments and legislative bodies. Required Skills

Education

  • Extensive experience with legislative procedures and political decision-making processes
