Job Summary
As the Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations in Zweibrücken, you will be the technical architect and operational lead for a platform connecting clinics, suppliers, and purchasing groups in the healthcare sector. Your primary mission is to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the company's IT infrastructure and cloud environments. You will balance strategic roadmap development with a hands-on approach, managing everything from server administration and network security to disaster recovery planning. Working closely with software development teams and external service providers, you will optimize system performance through proactive monitoring and modern automation. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, several years of relevant practical experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT infrastructure and operations management
- Experience in managing server and storage infrastructure, virtualization, and data center operations
- Proven track record in network administration including firewalls and VPNs
- Experience in developing infrastructure strategies and platform architectures
- Experience in coordinating external IT service providers
