Job Summary
This role involves the independent coordination and hands-on management of electrical engineering for production facilities at a historic family brewery in Bochum. The successful candidate will oversee the organization, maintenance, inspection, and repair of complex brewing and bottling equipment. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting during active production, programming S7 and TIA Portal systems, and serving as the Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK) to ensure legal compliance. Beyond maintenance, you will collaborate directly with the Operations Manager to plan system expansions and upgrades. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys technical processes and wants to work in a team-oriented, family-owned environment. The role offers a competitive package including 12 monthly salaries plus holiday and Christmas bonuses, 30 days of vacation, and a monthly beer allowance. While initially a 24-month fixed-term contract, there is a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent position.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Industrial Master or Technician in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Operations or Automation Technology, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in production and/or food and beverage bottling environments
- Experience in programming S7 and TIA Portal automation systems
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance, inspection, and repair of industrial equipment
- Experience handling energy supply systems and infrastructure
- Experience working as a Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK)
