Job Summary

As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in the precision calibration of optical filters using high-end UV/VIS/NIR spectrophotometers, including PerkinElmer and Varian systems. Your daily responsibilities include preparing measurement solutions, interpreting complex data, and documenting results through the creation and verification of calibration certificates. Beyond routine measurements, you will be responsible for manufacturing liquid-based and filter-glass-based optical filters while managing customer orders independently. This role offers a unique blend of technical laboratory work and project-based collaboration within a quality-managed environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, Physics Laboratory Technician, or a comparable laboratory-based qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a laboratory environment is preferred
  • Experience working under Quality Management conditions (GLP or ISO 17025) in an accredited laboratory is advantageous
  • Practical experience with instrumental measurement methods, specifically UV/VIS spectroscopy
  • Experience in independent processing of customer orders and project collaboration
