Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the secure and reliable operation of backbone and access transport networks (MPLS-TP, DWDM, SDH systems) for a leading energy provider in Bavaria. The successful candidate will play a key role in the rapid detection, analysis, and resolution of network infrastructure issues, coordinating with internal and external service providers. Responsibilities include supporting planned maintenance, verifying error-free operation post-maintenance, implementing new devices into management systems, and proactively analyzing and documenting network and service disruptions. This position is crucial for the ongoing automation and development of smart grids, contributing directly to Germany's energy transition. The role requires a solution-oriented, team-player who is part of a 2nd level on-call rotation, focusing on continuous improvement of operational processes and systems.
