Job Summary
This role serves as a strategic engine for the digital transformation of the Lippstadt city administration, reporting directly to the Mayor. As a Digital Transformation Coordinator, you will lead a dedicated team to identify digitalization potential across all municipal departments and develop a comprehensive city-wide digital strategy. Your day-to-day will involve initiating and managing high-impact projects such as process automation, electronic filing systems, and AI-supported applications while ensuring compliance with data protection and IT security regulations. You will act as a bridge between technology and organizational change, moderating workshops and fostering digital competencies among staff. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Administrative Sciences, IT Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with qualifying experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in digitalization projects, ideally within public administration or industry
- Proven experience in leading and managing complex IT projects and modern workflows
- Experience in strategic development and advising executive leadership on technology issues
- Professional background in process optimization and organizational change management
