Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer and Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of control and visualization software for production systems. Your daily activities involve developing and testing software in close collaboration with electronics development teams, as well as clarifying technical requirements with international customers and suppliers. A significant portion of this role includes performing system and integration tests in-house and providing on-site commissioning support globally. You will also provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for customers. This position is ideal for professionals looking to advance their career in international engineering projects. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree or certified technician training in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the commissioning of production plants at customer sites
- Proven experience in developing and testing control and visualization software
- Experience with Siemens automation tools (STEP 7, TIA Portal, WinCC) is required
- Experience with additional control systems such as Selectron, Mitsubishi, Pilz, or Phoenix is beneficial
- Professional experience in troubleshooting and technical support via remote access or on-site
