As an Electrical Development Engineer at Brunel, you will play a pivotal role in the advancement and optimization of complex FPGA designs, specifically focusing on Xilinx technologies. Your daily responsibilities will involve designing new FPGA architectures using Verilog and HLS, alongside developing C-based drivers for Xilinx Ultrascale series controllers in both bare-metal and Linux environments. You will manage the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through to series production, ensuring all documentation meets rigorous military standards. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

Professional experience in FPGA development, specifically with Xilinx technologies
Proficient in hardware description languages including Verilog and HLS
Experience in embedded software design using C and Linux
Experience in the full product development lifecycle from concept to series production
Experience working within a collaborative team environment across multiple engineering disciplines
