This role involves supporting a specialized web agency by managing, maintaining, and automating Linux-based systems, specifically within a web hosting environment. As a Linux Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer, you will work daily with the LAMP stack, hosting panels, and virtualization technologies to ensure the stability of the agency's server clusters located in Düsseldorf. The position operates within an agile framework using Scrum or Kanban, emphasizing professional standards such as version control, automated deployments, and 24/7 monitoring. You will have the opportunity to contribute to community projects and participate in 'Free-Working' sessions for your own ideas. Required Skills
Education
Qualified IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a similar educational background/qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the installation, maintenance, and automation of Linux systems
- Practical experience in web hosting environments and using hosting panels
- Demonstrated experience with the LAMP stack and DevOps workflows
- Experience working with virtualization and monitoring tools
- Experience in agile work environments using Scrum or Kanban
