Job Summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to act as a software architect for painting system automation in Gechingen, near Stuttgart. As a PLC Programmer, you will not just execute tasks but actively shape the company's control world by defining new software standards and designing complex architectures. Your day-to-day will involve developing S7-1500F projects in TIA Portal, implementing advanced IO-Link concepts for predictive maintenance, and programming Safety Integrated functions. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of your concepts, from initial office design to on-site commissioning at client locations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on innovation and wants to set industry benchmarks in Industry 4.0 and smart engineering. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering with additional qualification as a State-Certified Electrical Technician (Techniker Elektrotechnik) or a comparable degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming and automation technology
- Expert-level proficiency with TIA Portal and Siemens S7-1500F controllers
- Extensive experience in programming Safety Integrated functions
- Proven track record in modular software structure development and standardization
- Experience with IO-Link implementation and Industry 4.0 concepts
- Experience in the commissioning of industrial plants or systems
