Job Summary

As a Medical Technology Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and operational readiness of medical equipment within a hospital environment. Your daily responsibilities will include performing and documenting safety and metrological inspections (STK, MTK) as well as electrical safety tests (DGUV V3). You will act as the first point of contact for clinical staff, providing technical support and troubleshooting for various medical devices. A significant portion of the role involves coordinating with external service providers for maintenance and repairs, managing device data digitally via waveware®, and supporting the integration of networked medical devices into the IT infrastructure. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electronics, Medical Technology, or a comparable technical qualification; alternatively, a degree in Medical Technology or certification as a State-Certified Medical Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the maintenance and repair of medical devices within a hospital or similar healthcare facility
  • Practical experience in performing statutory technical inspections and documentation
  • Experience in coordinating external service providers and managing technical projects
  • Proven experience working with relevant legal and normative standards in medical technology
