As the Head of Energy Supply Department at WISAG Elektrotechnik in Kassel, you will take full operational and strategic responsibility for a business unit focused on industrial energy infrastructure. Your daily activities involve managing large-scale plant construction projects with volumes ranging from €250,000 to €10 million, specifically focusing on 110kV outdoor substations, switchgear buildings, and transformer stations. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of 25-30 professionals, including project managers, planners, and site managers, while ensuring technical quality, budget adherence, and timely invoicing. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Power Engineering) or completed electrical training with further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience as a Project Manager in energy supply systems, building installation, or technical services
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects with budgets up to €10 million
  • Leadership experience managing technical teams (approx. 25-30 employees)
  • Professional experience in commercial project controlling and administrative oversight
  • Experience in client relationship management and technical consulting
