Job Summary
This role at De Dietrich Germany Mainz GmbH involves managing the entire project lifecycle for thermal process engineering plants, specifically working with corrosion-resistant materials like borosilicate glass. As a Process Engineer and Project Manager, you will develop customized plant concepts tailored to client needs, perform cost calculations, and oversee both basic and detail engineering. Your day-to-day will involve high levels of coordination between internal departments—such as design, procurement, and instrumentation—and external clients. You will be responsible for equipment design, layout planning, and the technical specification of components. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Apparatus Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in plant engineering (Anlagenbau) is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in project management from quotation to completion
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams such as procurement, design, and instrumentation
- Experience in technical communication and coordination with international clients and suppliers
- Experience in commissioning plants in an international environment
