Job Summary

This role involves the strategic management and further development of core E-Government ICT services for the State of Berlin. Working within the Senate Chancellery, the successful candidate will serve as a Service Owner and Project Manager specifically for Berlin's user account systems, including BundID and 'Mein Unternehmenskonto'. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading complex digital transformation projects, defining policy frameworks for IT infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless integration of central identity management services. This position is unique as it offers the opportunity to shape the digital landscape of Germany's capital, working at the intersection of public administration, law, and information technology. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in Law, Economics, Finance, Administrative Science, Political Science, Computer Science, or Administrative Informatics. For civil servants: fulfillment of career requirements for the second entry office of career group 2 in the general non-technical administrative service.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the strategic management and development of ICT services
  • Proven experience in project leadership, specifically within digital government or E-Government initiatives
  • Experience in managing service responsibility for large-scale IT systems
  • Background in public administration or policy-making (Grundsatzreferent) roles
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a legal, economic, or technical capacity
