Job Summary
This is a leadership role within the City of Pinneberg's Finance Department, where you will manage a team of seven employees. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing the entire accounting process, including the preparation of annual financial statements and consolidated accounts in accordance with municipal budget regulations. Required Skills
Education
Qualification for the second track of the first entry-level career group in General Services, or a completed administrative specialist training (Angestelltenlehrgang II), or an equivalent qualification. Certification as a Financial/Balance Sheet Accountant in Public Administration is highly advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in municipal accounting, annual financial statements, or treasury management is preferred
- Leadership experience managing a team of employees
- Experience in applying municipal budget law or commercial code (HGB) regulations
- Experience in drafting financial reports and administrative directives
- Experience representing financial matters in political or committee settings
