Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to join the central Innovation and Development team at WBS Training Schools, focusing on the reliability and user-centric evolution of digital services. As a Digital Systems Specialist and Junior Service Owner, you will bridge the gap between operational system maintenance and service ownership throughout the entire lifecycle of digital products. Your daily responsibilities include managing system performance based on Service Level Agreements, handling change requests, and documenting technical workflows. You will also play a key role in supporting end-users through first-level support and conducting staff training sessions to improve digital literacy. This position is highly flexible, offering options for full-time or part-time work (30-40 hours) at locations in Berlin, Dresden, or 100% remote. It is an ideal role for a structured professional who enjoys problem-solving and collaborating across departments to enhance the digital educational environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training, ideally in administration, data management, digital management (Kaufmann/-frau für Digitalisierungsmanagement), or IT (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the administration of IT systems or digital tools
  • Experience in managing networked digital services and their interfaces
  • Proven experience in project management, including milestone tracking and task prioritization
  • Professional experience in a service-oriented role with direct user support
  • Experience in documenting technical and operational processes
  • Experience in collaborative teamwork and cross-departmental coordination
