This role involves the design and implementation of state-of-the-art AI and Machine Learning models, specifically focusing on predictive maintenance to optimize complex manufacturing processes within the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors. As a Data Engineer in Mannheim, you will analyze large datasets from pilot plants using statistical methods and big data time-series analysis. Your day-to-day will involve conceptualizing and evaluating measurement setups in development and production machinery, as well as leading sub-projects, including resource planning and external partner coordination. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Process Engineering, Data Science, Physics, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in process or product development, preferably within the regulated medical technology environment
  • Experience in designing and implementing AI/ML models such as Predictive Maintenance
  • Experience in the technical leadership of sub-projects, including resource planning and scheduling
  • Practical experience with ML libraries and MLOps in an industrial context
  • Experience in the maintenance of productive ML models and data flow optimization
