Job Summary
As an IT Systems and Solution Architect for Commercial and Finance, you will serve as the primary architect for the company's digital backbone, focusing on General & Administrative (G&A) and Commercial functions. Your daily responsibilities involve designing and maintaining corporate IT enterprise architecture, ensuring seamless connectivity between CRM, ERP, and DMS platforms. You will bridge departmental silos by architecting automated workflows and ensuring data consistency across Finance, Legal, and HR systems. A key part of this role involves technical leadership, where you translate business requirements into scalable designs while managing relationships with external software vendors and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). This position is particularly attractive for professionals who enjoy high-level strategic blueprinting and technical governance within a mission-driven scientific environment. You will act as the IT Control Owner for financial reporting and ensure compliance with GDPR and local financial regulations, making this a critical role for the company's operational scalability and security.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field; TOGAF, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect, or Veeva Vault Platform certifications are preferred.
Experience
- Proven track record in designing and implementing integrated business system landscapes including CRM, ERP, and DMS.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex software rollouts and managing external Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
- Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault CRM and the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
- Experience in technical leadership and stakeholder management with Finance, Legal, and HR departments.
- Professional experience in security frameworks and financial reporting IT controls.
