Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer at Dornier Suntrace in Hamburg, you will play a pivotal role in the design and execution of large-scale renewable energy projects, including solar PV, wind, and battery storage systems ranging from 10 to 1000 MW. Your daily responsibilities will involve creating technical designs for low and medium-voltage installations, managing grid connection concepts, and coordinating with system suppliers and external experts. You will lead the preparation of EPC tenders, conduct feasibility studies, and oversee quality assurance during the construction phase. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in the planning and/or construction of PV systems
  • Professional experience in electrical design and execution planning for renewable energy projects
  • Experience working on both German and international projects
  • Professional experience in managing grid studies and protection concepts
  • Experience in coordinating internal/external experts and system suppliers
