Job Summary

As a Data Engineer at TARGOBANK, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining IT applications for risk management and regulatory reporting. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing complex banking requirements in collaboration with specialist departments and advising on technological implementation within the bank's Data Warehouse environment. You will be responsible for implementing innovative, high-performance IT solutions and ensuring a stable system landscape. Beyond technical execution, you will participate in IT projects and eventually take the lead on smaller initiatives. Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Applied/Practical) Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification such as vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker).

Experience

Several years of professional experience in IT or data environments
Sound experience in software and data architecture
Proven proficiency in handling complex data models and system landscapes
Experience in Shell Scripting with Bash and conceptual evaluation of ETL processes
Initial experience or readiness to lead small-scale IT projects
