Job Summary

This is a 6-month Master's project position within the Research and Development department of a pharmaceutical company in Vienna. As a student intern, you will play a pivotal role in the 'Process Digitalization & Automation' initiative. Your daily responsibilities will involve expanding the digital laboratory environment, developing automated workflows for unit operations, and applying process models for advanced process control. You will be responsible for validating these tools, interpreting results, and maintaining rigorous documentation. This role is unique as it offers the opportunity to complete a Master's thesis while gaining hands-on experience in a preclinical and clinical research setting. Required Skills

Education

Currently enrolled student in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific/process engineering field.

Experience

  • Completion of mandatory laboratory courses during scientific studies
  • Academic background in biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, or biomedical engineering
  • Experience in scientific documentation and result interpretation
  • Previous exposure to process engineering or scientific research environments
