Job Summary

As a Site Manager for Civil Engineering at Deutsche Telekom Tiefbau GmbH in Munich, you will lead approximately 18 employees across multiple construction crews. Your primary responsibility is the planning and control of fiber optic expansion projects, ensuring technical, scheduling, and economic targets are met. Day-to-day, you will oversee the proper excavation and backfilling of cable trenches, as well as the correct installation of cables and pipes. You will act as the central point of contact for building owners, authorities, and third parties while ensuring strict compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations. This role is unique as it involves building up internal civil engineering capacities for one of Germany's largest infrastructure projects—providing fiber optic access to all German households by 2030. You will also handle personnel selection and staff development, making this a comprehensive leadership position within a stable, tariff-bound corporate environment.
