Job Summary

As a Senior Network Infrastructure Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of telecommunications infrastructure at Deutsche Telekom. You will be responsible for the end-to-end deployment of cutting-edge technologies, including 5G, FTTH, and IP/MPLS. Your daily activities will involve creating design, approval, and execution plans, conducting complex network compatibility tests, and managing large-scale network modernization projects. You will act as a key expert in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining precise network documentation. This position is unique for its focus on Open RAN systems and the opportunity to lead complex migration projects that directly impact Germany's digital landscape. The role offers significant flexibility with up to three days of remote work per week and a strong emphasis on professional development and knowledge sharing within a collaborative team environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Business Administration, or a completed vocational training combined with several years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in network planning and deployment environments
  • Extensive experience in project management for mobile network sites
  • Proven track record in managing complex network modernization and migration measures
  • Expert-level experience in planning system technologies specifically for Huawei, Ericsson, or Nokia hardware
  • Experience in knowledge transfer and acting as a technical multiplier/mentor within a team
